I've been doing a lot of that lately too. I love to read and there is nothing better than to sit with a good book and a cup of your favorite beverage.

vicki archer, merci beaucoup! And bienvenue! We share a blog-amie in Trish...what a nice connection.

Kris, ahhh yes. I do that with my books in English and save my French reading for before I go to sleep...hoping it will sink in that way.

donna, you might like the Josephine trilogy about Napolean Bonaparte's wife written in journal entry style. (by Sandra Gulland) I'm currently finishing La Femme du Veme in French and in English I always have a Pema Chödron going...just now The Places That Scare You. I'm just finishing Malcolm Gladwell's What The Dog Saw and will be starting in on Man Ray's Montparnasse tout de suite. I'm making a note of the ones you mentioned...always good to keep a list of potential reads!
