A very Happy New Year to you, Leslie! Yes, most appropriate, the image of the station. Even though the train has left, it's still getting up to speed. Easier said than done after a good break!

Deborah, merci - and back to you. My little choo-choo is picking up speed faster than I can keep up! I feel a bit like I'm currently running alongside! Once I hit my pace, I think it promises to be a very good year - for all of us!

donna, i just adore black and white. my favorite for photos. when i first started, most of my work was black and white and *always* for portraiture!

pierrelatte is the closest train station to my friends 'mas' (farmhouse) in grignan...another good one to google! fabulous little village from where mme. sevigne did much of her famous correspondence.
