quite lovely...i like that i can see just enough inside that my interest is piqued.....and that door is exquisite!....it kind of reminds me of life...we see just enough to pay attention.....but we never truly see the whole picture....(we just think we do!)

donna, merci beaucoup! I agree - on everything you're saying here. I experienced a moment's hesitation with this shot as there was a woman 'of a certain age' walking toward me as I prepared to shoot. I noted a rather stern look as she approached and I thought she might be headed to this very sarcophagus to adorn it with the pot of flowers she held in an embrace with her right hand as she balanced her steps with the cane in her left. But no...she shuffled right past me. Perhaps she was just pre-occupied...or simply moving about the world with her 'public life' face in place.
