So lovely, can hardly wait to see it!

With this beautiful stonework and the railings (which remind me of small flowers the way a child would draw them), I can understand why you would enjoy snapping away here...I can see so much from this picture alone. Is it a particularly old 'Place'?

Oh, I wish we had courtyards, doors and fleur de lis such as these in the States to look at and PHOTOGRAPH. One day our country will be old, too, but we are so "new"!! You truly live in a photographer's paradise.

déjà pseu, you must be counting the days!! wooohooo! can't wait!

AL, Place Albertas is an 18th century addition to a building that I suspect is older than that. The fountain was added in 1912...designed and built by students (I want to say architectural students but I'm not sure...) lovely, huh?!

sanda, I can sooo relate to your lament about the 'newness' of the US...and imagine me, from California, no less! You are right about this being a photographer's paradise!
