To Market, To Market

This playful monument, in L'Eglise St. Eustache, honors the vendeurs at the fresh produce marché of Les Halles - which was located for centuries adjacent to the lovely old Gothic church.

Off to the marché later this morning - in spite of intermittent raindrops.  I'm less in search of seasonal veggies than moody images in the soft light of late October in these parts.  In fact, I'm hoping to spend the the next couple of days in the same fashion:  gathering images.  Bodhi is off to his babysitter's for the weekend for a play date with Madame's two girls (who look like miniature versions of Bodhi) and I'm planning to getting out into the world for some photos and a hike with a friend....weather permitting.

Have a lovely Friday!

Ciao,

Happy Weekend Leslie,

Sounds like a wonderful way to spend your weekend. I bet you will find yourself a bit lost though without Bodi. What a wonderful idea for Bodi to be with his friends while you with yours! LOL

Looking forward to you sharing photos with us.

Et Salut,

Kris

donna, how right you are about that light! i remember sitting at a café in nice in the apricot-lavender rays of a setting sun, saying to myself: 'one day i'm going to live in this lovely light.'...and so she did!

Kris, Bodhi hasn't even left yet and I miss him already! How crazy is that?! He loves those girls, though, and he'll be a very happy puppy when I pick him up on Sunday. We all need a little 'me time' don't we?!

ciao,
leslie
