Mardi Meteo

Rain in the forecast with a high of 20º C (68ºF) expected today.  (Actually just a skooch higher if the morning news is to be believed.) At this writing it is a fresh 17ºC (63ºF) and the night's accumulated warmth is being breathed out the kitchen window as the morning's cool air finds its way in.  Lovely, really, this exchange.

My pots of basil are getting a good drink and the air has the scent of wet earth and wood.  Perfect morning for breathing in the sweetness in big gulps during my yoga practice...which I'm off to do before the day's work begins.

Wishing you all a lovely day and offering up a bouquet of roses to seal the deal.

Ciao,
Leslie

It's been down pouring all morning so far here and has really cooled things off.
Hope you have a lovely Tuesday (and rest of the week too!)

it's going to be 71 degrees here where i am in SoCal.....as you well know in the LA area it depends on where you live (beach, inland, LA metro, or valley) as to how hot it will be....it has been unusually cool, but sunny here lately.....have been watching French Open for a week now...my sanity

Sara Louise, we had rain over night and a bit of drizzle this morning...clouds all day and lovely cool temps but no rain during the day. Guess you're getting it all, lucky girl! (And thanks! Back at you.)

donna, ahhhhhh...lovely...and the French Open en plus! (I'm mesmerized by those chain devices they pull across the clay courts to groom them...for some reason...don't ask me why...must match the spaciness at the moment and watching them move back and forth in front of the net matches my current inner pendulum...or something...speaking of sanity...or not...) ;}

Another HOT AND HUMID day here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Temperatures are expected to be in the mid 90's and WINDY with no rain in sight.

How I long for cool weather in the 60's and low 70's but there is no chance of that until late October! Sigh.

Kris, whew! and yikes! Buckle your seat belt 'cuz from all reports, this is going to be a wild summer. People are talking about a 'canicule' here: heat wave. I'll enjoy every drop of the sweetness this spring has to offer until we're slammed with high temps.
