From the beggar who installs himself between me and the market each day...to the vendors at the market...to acquaintances passing in the street, "Bon dimanche"* is the greeting exchanged each Sunday here in the 'hood.
I send this greeting out to all of the gentle readers of La Fourchette on this last Sunday of October. (We changed our clocks back last night!)
Bon dimanche!

Bon dimanche to you....off to teach my little K-1st graders this lovely sunday morning....it's gonna be 81 degrees today......enjoying the last bit of "indian summer" here
Leslie,
What a lovely angel's prayer pose and thank you for sending "good vibes". We have yet to set our clocks back but if I remember correctly, I think they pushed it back by a couple of weeks. Sure as I say this I will get the word that its "time".
Hope you have a great day tomorrow.
Kris
it is probably too late to say this, but it was always my favorite comment: "Bon Weekend"!!! And do keep us posted on the cards...very exciting!
donna, lovely! "indian summer" here, too. scrumptious!
Kris, I think you're safe for another couple of weeks. We're the early birds. In fact, Last night, I had to call the friend I was to go hiking with today to make sure she knew we were changing the clocks...which she had forgotten! whew!
Ann, Bon weekend! The cards are going up for sale in the next few days...fingers crossed...*if* today's angel's prayers are answered. ;} I'll keep you posted!
You know how that first night of the new time always feels really late? So it is once again...bonne nuit à tous!

Leslie, I'm enjoying your daily posts, even though I don't usually respond. Don't be discouraged if you see few comments...we're out there!
Emily, oh what lovely encouragement! I'm so pleased that you're still 'out there' among La Fourchette's gentle readers! One never knows who drops out when one goes awol for a time. I have *big* appreciation for all those who can weather the posting breaks when life gets too crazy. Merci beaucoup!
ciao,
leslie
