Deborah, are you in the 'hood?! I've not quite yet gotten back into the rhythm of reading around the blog-o-sphere so you may have announced your landing in Provence and I missed it. We've had rain and wind to go with our grey today...but it's actually kind of nice to have a bit of a drink 'round here.
I love your photo and I especially love those shutters. What I wouldn't do for a pair! They would look equally as beautiful used as a headboard inside a house. Just gorgeous! I love the color grey.
donna, thanks {curtsy}...blue, huh? cool. I know it's a bit cliché - the old french windows thing - but they are charming, aren't they? I never get tired of seeing them - or adding them to the collection.
Colette, of course you LOVE it! Must take you right back to that recent trip to these parts you just made! Sending sunshine (which broke through in patches today) and flower pots your way!
Kris, aren't these shutters great?! As a headboard - what a fabulous idea. Sounds very shabby chic...which I adore. And thank you for your kind words...
“Leslie landed in the lavender and olives of Provence in 2004...fork in hand...” so began La Fourchette in 2006. Fast-forward to this moment...with survival issues managed (every ex-pat knows what I'm talking about!), I returned to my metier of psychotherapy and La Fourchette took a back seat...but it was a wonderful ride!
